🤔What is it?
The FMLM Medical Student Elective is a unique opportunity for medical students in the UK to gain valuable experience in leadership, management, and healthcare policy outside of a clinical setting. It’s a six-week program offered annually in April/May, allowing you to work with the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management (FMLM) at a national level.
📋Eligibility and Requirements:
- Be a medical student member of FMLM.
- Be a student at a UK university in year 3, 4, or 5 of your medical studies.
- Have permission from your medical school for educational leave during the program (April/May).
- Be available for all six weeks of the elective.
- Pay a £100 administration fee upon acceptance (except for widening participation students). This covers program costs but not travel, accommodation, and living expenses.
